If you haven’t listened to this in a while, especially some of you older guys, I’d suggest you set aside ten minutes and do so because this is an incredible piece of music.

I tried really hard to listen to this album. I did not succeed. It's like jazz, I just don't get it.

I have a deep musical background and I’ll admit that Blackstar is not all that accessible. Very artistic and, well, weird, but fabulous. Mind if I ask your age? The album definitely captures what it is to shed the mortal coil. It’s brilliant.

What do you like to listen to?

I’m 43. I actually met David Bowie and Iman in 1995, I think. His son, Duncan Jones, went to the same college as I did and was the captain of the rugby team, on which I played. Bowie showed up for his graduation.

I like music that doesn’t require me to ‘figure it out.’ A broad range of stuff.

I saw Bowie in concert when I was in high school, around 1981. I don’t recall what tour it would’ve been, but he was mesmerizing on stage.

I enjoy a broad variety of musics as well. Very broad.

Serious Moonlight, 1983 . You and I went together. It was the best concert I’ve ever been to, hands down.
